So, I have been very busy with real life stuff. Made some major purchases and changes recently that has occupied me the past week. I have been doing small updates here and there as I see them, but I haven't been using the site all that much.

Need to get hosting sorted out, not just for this site but for all of my sites. This shared host I am using goes down like two times a day for 30 minutes each time. The host says it's "rebooting" which makes sense, if it took like 2 minutes to reboot that's fine, it takes 30 minutes and it's slow to come back up. Brutal.

So, I do have a VPS host that I originally planned to setup with my IRL streaming setup for the summer. I still plan to do IRL, but scaled way down than what I originally had in mind. Anyway, I could begin to migrate everything over to that server, but do I trust the JANK linux setup I have on it to reliably host my website? To be honest, not really. But, the fact that https://bitterli.dev works at all is a miracle so maybe I should start to migrate.

It's expensive, though. I am trying to keep this site hosting has cheap as possible so it's not a burden on my income. Otherwise, i'd have to monetize this site somehow, and I am firmly against website advertisements and tracking so who knows.

Like I said earlier in the thread, been very busy with real life stuff. I want to jump back into working on this site soon, though. Last I left off was the admin panel. Still need to finish that thing off.

After that, not sure what other features to add to the site. I think there's already a pretty nice feature-set on the site already. Maybe I will add some formatting options to the messages like the famous GREEN TEXT or something? Maybe double arrows to just link to a message in the thread? Maybe reply to multiple messages (like I originally planned but got lazy)?

There's some ideas I have but I am happy with what I have. I have learned a lot with this project with handling noscript and a real dark mode controlled by the browser. Maybe I can add a toggle button to cycle between light and dark mode somewhere.

But right now I am focusing on small, cosmetic and functionality things. Nothing major. Literally making this post I already want to modify the sticker injection, LOL!

Another thing I need to do is finish setting up all of the boards, banners and stickers. It's a separate process than development but I hope to get it done, soon. Please be patient!
